It is not only annoying, but obviously something has caused this to happen, I read the topics, here, and elsewhere about audio issues, and video card drivers, and possible fixes, those things were changed as mentioned with zero change/fix in the issue. September 14, 2021-KB5005565 (OS Builds 19041.1237, 19042.1237, and 19043.1237)Īs I can't be certain as to when this actually started, as it may have done it before those dates (but not much before) and I blew it off as some random glitch, but it has since consistently done it on any GoPro video I play, that prior to this issue played without any flaws whatsoever Not sure if it was one of these, or something else, or even the prior update before them which would be

GOPRO HEVC CODEC WINDOWS 10 MOVIE
I have tried using Windows Media Player, Quick Time Player and Movies & TV (a default movie app I am guessing ?) < I have also tried updating my video drivers twice (2 different versions), I have a feeling it has to do with some Windows Update that has recently happened, as everything has worked fine for over a year that this PC has been up, I know it is not hardware related (6gb Nvidia GTX 1060, again, current drivers), I have also read, and tried adjusting the Audio to 24 bit ,96000 Hz and 19,2000 Hz, it still does the exact same thing, usually about half way thru a 20 minute video, sometimes sooner, sometimes later, again, random freezing I am all of a sudden having a issue with Videos (GoPro MP4 specifically) randomly freezing, it is not like some other posts where they say it freezes and audio continues, it just flat locks up for maybe 10 seconds, then plays again, like nothing happened, then may do it again.
